Key Features

Some of the key differences between the Low Rider® S and the Sport Glide™ include the overall rider profile. With the Low Rider® S, you’ll get an upright riding position that makes it easier for long drives. With the Sport Glide™, you get a more relaxed riding position, which gives you a combination of performance and touring features. The Low Rider® S also supports a mid-mount foot position for a more active ride. With the Sport Glide™, you get forward foot controls that extend your leg further out. You’ll also love the screen fairing on both vehicles. If you want to take a passenger along, the Sport Glide™ may offer the better choice. The Low Rider® S doesn’t support a passenger seat. Mechanical

The Low Rider® S and the Sport Glide™ use different engines. You get a Milwaukee-Eight® 114 engine that gives you a 4.016-inch bore and 4.5-inch stroke on the Low Rider® S. With 114 cubic feet of displacement, you’ll get a more powerful engine with the Low Rider® S. On the Sport Glide™, it comes with a Milwaukee-Eight® 107 engine. This engine features a 3,937-inch bore and a 4.375-inch stroke. You’ll get 107 cubic inches of displacement on the Sport Glide™. You’ll also get a 10.5:1 compression ratio on the Low Rider® S. The Sport Glide™ supports a 10.0:1 compression ratio. The exhaust systems on both bikes also differ. The Low Rider® S comes with a 2-into-2 offset shotgun with a catalyst in muffler. The Sport Glide™ supports a 2-into-1 with a catalyst in muffler. Performance

Take the Low Rider® S for a test ride, and you may notice the engine torque gives you a bit more power than the Sport Glide™. You’ll get 119 pound-feet of torque with the Low Rider® S. The Sport Glide™ comes with 108 pound-feet of torque. You’ll also get a greater lean angle on the Low Rider® S, and it holds 30.1 degrees on both the left and the right. With the Sport Glide™, you’ll get a 27.9-degree lean angle on the front and 28.7 on the rear. Chassis

Some of the chassis features you should enjoy include the dark bronze, radiate cat aluminum wheels on the Low Rider® S. As far as the brakes are concerned, you’ll get a 4-piston fixed front and 2-piston floating rear on both vehicles. Technology & Safety

You’ll get similar options on both the Low Rider® S and the Sport Glide™ when it comes to technology features. The Low Rider® S does come with auxiliary lighting. The Sport Glide™ does not offer this feature. Additionally, you’ll get a 4-inch analog tachometer on the Low Rider® S. The 4-inch analog tachometer does not come with the Sport Glide™. ABS brakes come standard on both bikes, and you’ll feel secure riding either bike.
