The similarity in names leads many new enthusiasts to believe that these models are quite similar, but that isn’t the case. The main difference when comparing the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Street Bob® 114 vs the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Fat Bob® 114 is that the Fat Bob® 114 is more performance-oriented. It’s heavier and has a relaxed riding position whereas the Street Bob® 114 delivers more of a traditional cruiser experience.
The Street Bob® 114 and Fat Bob® 114 are both cruisers based on the Softail® platform, and they are bobbers, which means that they have abbreviated fenders, which is a classic cruiser aesthetic. Although more performance-oriented, the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Fat Bob® 114 is not more powerful than the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Street Bob® 114.
